Nonprofit Storytelling with

Working with nonprofits is very important to the values of Bad Etiquette as a means to elevate stories of those who are often overlooked, undervalued, or disenfranchised. By working with several local and national organizations from Welcome to Chinatown in New York City, Comics Relief US, Creative Time, and several others, we have been privileged to expand their reach and impact across the internet.

Extra Butter NYC

New York based fashion boutique Extra Butter opened a Long Island City location during the summer of 2020. We were tasked with telling the brand’s long history and relationship with the borough of Queens, known as the World’s Borough due to its vast international communities and endearing hustler mentality. It has been said that every road leads through Queens, as it serves as a major immigrant gateway to the States, and thus, the American Dream. The vertical campaign consisted of three chapters that interviewed prominent cultural icons from Queens, reflecting on their love for the borough, and their forecast for the future.
