“Lone Summer” Official Music Video by slchld

The Canadian Lo-Fi artist reached out to us to create an entire handdrawn animated music video for his single “Lone Summer.” Drawing on the themes of loneliness due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, wanderlust, nostalgia, and longing, we put together a story about a lonesome man reminiscing about his loved one who he has been unable to see in a long time. In order to pass the time, he wanders aimlessly around the city, helping others sometimes knowingly and sometimes completely obviously until he arrives at a place where he finds peace and solace.
